The Rainbow Stairs are one of the most famous Instagrammed places in Istanbul. You can find a couple of Rainbow Stairs in the city. They are a little sensational spot in the city. They attract people and make them happy.

A retired engineer “Hüseyin Çetinel” painted stairs in his local neighborhood. His motive was to make people happy. Though the city has a couple of Rainbow stairs I have listed the most convenient one which is near Süleymaniye Mosque and is based in the heart of Sultanahmet.

Süleymaniye Mosque

When you follow Rainbow Staircase, you will be on your way to the gorgeous Suleymaniye Mosque. This beautifully designed mosque is the second largest mosque in Istanbul.

Hagia Sophia a.k.a Aya Sofya is another mosque that we recommend. This mosque also shares the same garden as Blue Mosque. I recommend you to be a little bit far from it and towards the Blue Mosque side. There you can capture the best views!

During April or May, you will see some beautiful blossoming trees. This view can enhance your pictures. It is not only beautiful from the outside but also inside too. If you have time, make sure to look at it from the inside.

This is another beautiful place which we recommend you to visit. This area is not that crowded. It has an amazing view of the Bosphorus bridge.
